About Gina
Gina has been working with charter schools and other autonomous and independent schools since 2012, specializing in New School Development, Governance, Operations, School Improvement, Policy/Research, and Innovation/School Competitiveness.
As former Manager of Schools of Choice and federal Charter Schools Program grant for Colorado, Gina brings skills and experience in school design and oversight, governance supports, strategic planning, public speaking, professional development, and grant management.

Institute for Educational Leadership’s Global Education Policy Fellowship, Gina
also maintains expertise in school innovation, comparative education, and
international competitiveness, with specific experience in British, Saudi, and
Chinese educational environments, as well as knowledge of European/Scandinavian
educational systems/models.
Gina
enjoys sharpening her governance skills through first-hand school support, and has served as a board member and governance committee chair for Highline Academy in Denver and for Hemispheres Academy, an online school for globally mobile students and families. Gina has also served as a class parent and parent representative at her childrens' schools.
Gina and her family call Arvada, Colorado home, but spend lots of time abroad traveling and joining her husband on assignment as a United States Foreign Service Officer (diplomat). Gina holds a B.A in Social Science, with a
concentration in Secondary Education, from Biola University (La Mirada, CA),
and a M.S in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics and
Political Science (London, UK).
